I came to the Pit assuming there will be close to immediate answers. I could be wrong, but can someone tell me the song where the chorus does this chromatic power chord thing, and it's distorted. It's a famous song I believe, and well played on the radio.

Music isn't the Olympics. It's not about showing other people what you can do with a piece of wood in your hands that has strings on, it's about making sounds that are good.

If it's a radio song. I'd say Sweet Emotion. That's got some good power chords with crunchy distortion on it.

chromatic power chord thing...there's a song called Adam's Apple off the Toys in the Attic album that has one of those, but it's in the verse, not the chorus
Between the velvet lies, there's a truth as hard as steel.
The vision never dies, life's a neverending wheel.
