so for the school talent show this year i want to play something brutal(not Br00t3Lz) as its my last year i want to go out with a bang

im not quite sure of wat song tho

something along the lines of Cryptopsy - dead and dripping would be good tho i find that song sorta repetitive

or something like Kataklysm - like angels weeping(the dark) but a little more technical and with a solo would be great

basically im not looking to win. More im trying to make some of the audience think wtf is going on, some think that there ears are about to burst and some(very few) think this is awesome

PS will delete this thread after decision is made

EDIT i posted this in the pit but moved it here coz i think ill get better answers here

Leniency? In the metal forum? This is unheard of. People get massacred here for just walking by.

Oh sweet Thor, the replies in this thread...

Play some Origin. Or maybe like someone else suggested Necrophagist? Plenty of good brutal tech-death bands.

Since you obviously like Cryptopsy, why not do Phobophile? Or if you want more brutal, do Open Face Surgery, great song, and not to repetitive.

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.

This man has a point.

What tuning are you in, how many strings, how many members does your band have, how technical are you all.

Playing Anaal Nathrakh would definately scare the **** out of the whole school. I think thats the way to go.

Oh, I'm totally seconding AN. Although he wouldn't be able to do any vocals.

What album should I start with?

You doing it as a band, or just you playing guitar? I think if you just play the guitar parts only, you'll be surprised at the reception you'll get. When I play something really brutal, and people don't hear the vocals or anything-most of the times they get into it-even if it's not their style. So just go for it man, rip it up.
