I have an lousy 20w old amp for practise use. I connected my headphones to it and noticed that it gives a lot better response to high-pitched sounds, like pinches, that I usually have trouble getting out from the amp. Is it because the 10" speaker is so low quality or is it just because headphones have smaller speakers, so it´s easier for them to produce high sounds?
I wouldn't waste $$$ on a new speaker, go out and get a new amp if you don't like yours.

I am going to buy a new amp soon enough. But I was just curious if it´s because of the speaker or something else... :/
