Hi guys, please excuse me if this is an extremely stupid question, I just don't know the answer and was wondering.

I have a squire p bass, and i am looking into customizing it. What would putting a new bridge on the bass do? Would it alter the sound or playability at all?

Again, excuse me if this is dumb :-p.

Thank you

The best thing a new bridge can do is increase your sustain. All basses want more.
