Xavier Rudd (one of the most innovative singers of our time)

Xavier Rudd's an amazing musician out of Australia. What's so cool about him is that he plays a wide variety of instruments all at once and he sings. He plays the guitar, a few tribal drums, the digiridoo and the harmonica and he's got an incredible voice.

This guy is so talented its not even funny. If he played any more instruments at once, he'd have to take off his pants.

Here's a few of his best songs, I chose the live versions because you have to actually see him play to get the full effect of what he does.

well lol i ment to get to this thread a longgg time ago when i seen it. Xavier Rudd is the man!!!
i have a few of his albums such as White Moth, To Let, Solace and Food in the Belly. all of them which are solid albums. i don't have Dark Shades of Blue but the tracks rthat i've heard from it are a little more on the rockish side for Xavier but still good in it own right.

i have only seen him one time in concert which was in buffalo maybe last summer or the summer before. he puts on a very good show. its cool to watch him just sit up there and play by himself. a true musician in my book.

Let me beee now, oh ohhhh oh oh ohhhhh

Does he have good albums?
The will be heartache,
there will be rain,
and joy I can't explain.

Yea he has some great albums. All of them are awsome in my mind but for all intensive purposes i'll narrow it down to two. Food in the Belly and To Let are my favorites by them.

Oh and your a Aussie and don't listen to Xavier ritualistically? Shame on you...

Haha. Well, he's not too big around here. Not played often on the radio so yeah. I'll look into buying one of them then

Their album is fairly good too.

Nice Solace is a very solid album. If by any chance you are looking for a album of the same sound To Let and Food in the Belly are solid choices.
