this is probably the wrong place to ask, but its worth a shot.

anyway, in my english II honors we're reading "The Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury. Our teacher told us VERY specifically to pay attention to the colors of the butterfly at the end that Eckles accidentally kills. (Black, green, and gold) Does anybody have any idea what these colors are associated with? or, to anybody who's read this story, why are these colors so significant??
