TL;DR my math teacher thinks i cheated on a test (even though i didn't) and refuses to acknowledge my apology

K so here's the deal.

A few days ago, in my math class, we were learning bout terms and stuff and we learned a bunch of formulas that i kept mixing up, so i wrote them on the desk to help me out.

The next day we had a test, and i sat at my desk only to realize that the formulas were still on my desk. So i figured that was cool and it wasn't really a big deal but as the math teacher came around to hand out the test, i hid it underneath my calculator (my math teacher is crazy about writing on desks) and he saw it and figured i was cheating.

So he gives me a 0 on the test, I had to have a talk with the vice (who is a cool guy) and I have to write a letter of apology to him and get it signed by him. Only thing is, he doesn't believe that i wrote out the formulas the day before and that i wrote them out right before we were about to do the test.

What should i do? I don't want my math teacher think i'm cheating every time i'm writing a test and i respect him and everything and i definitely don't want a 0 on the test, but he doesn't believe me. Help?

You WERE cheating. If you're meant to remember formulas and you write them on a desk planning to use them on test, that's cheating.

TBH, you had it coming.

So you figured, "Oh well, might as well cheat." And then you got caught. What can I say? Go to your teacher and give him a bj.

Well if he wouldn't have seen the formula, you would have used them right? Thus cheating, so you just got the grade you deserved.

to be honest, there probably isn't anything you can do to change his mind.

there really is no way you can prove that you did it the day before. plus you were hiding it and planning on using it, so you would have cheated.

You know, they invented a thing called paper awhile back so you can write on it instead of writing on desks.

What's this "paper" you speak of?
Poop.

No bj's...never again

And i acknowledged that i was cheating and being dishonest in my letter of apology which my teacher read. The VP even read my letter, and showed it to a bunch of teachers, and they all said it was a solid letter. The problem is that he doesn't believe i wrote them the day before.

I disagree.

You can simply lift the lead off the desk and measure the amount of oxidation in said lead. Thus being able to tell when the desk was written on.

I didn't say that - I just said that the TS' sexual preferences may not lean towards that of pleasuring the same gender.

Who cares when you wrote them? Nobody. Not him, not us, not the VP. It's irrelevant.

You planned on cheating and were caught. It doesn't matter how you did it, cheating is cheating.

Just say you didn't know that it was there and someone else wrote it...
They can't prove it unless you admitted to it and started writing the letter...
The trick is to deny it from the start...

The ONLY way he can truly change his mind about you is if you literally cry to him saying that you wrote on the desk the day before. Otherwise, you're screwed (or rather you and he'll just forget about this situation in due time).

you tried to hide them under your calculator and use them instead of erasing/telling the teacher.
it doesnt matter when you wrote them, its still cheating.

Tell him you didn't do it on purpose and that if he doesn't want to accept your apology that's his problem.

fixed.

Anyways, wouldn't writing them the day before be much worse then right before the test? Right before, you already know what you are writing, you won't forget it 2 minutes later.

I know it's 3.14, but I said 3.15 because it's higher than Pi.

actually pi is infinitely shorter than that. and 3.14 is not "dumbed-down version" its simply a estimation.

on topic, it doesnt matter when you wrote it you still cheated or intended to cheat. its probably going to suck being in that class for the remainder of the year. im guessing your semester just started too
