Hey, well i record covers of songs on my camera with backing track and i was just wondering something:

Well, sometimes when i record my guitar can drown out the backing track, will mixing be able to fix this?

And also when i want to add say more reverb to my guitar but my reverb on the amp is max, will mixing raise the reverb?

Also can mixing make my guitar sound more clear and crisp?

Thanks

Record your guitar with the backing track in headphones, then you can mix them to separate channels. You can add as much reverb as you want while mixing, and EQing/Mastering will make your guitar clearer and crisper.
Telecaster - SG - Jaguar
Princeton Reverb, Extra Reverb
P-Bass - Mustang Bass
Apogee Duet 2 - Ableton Suite
