Well, since the Ibanez '09 threads have pretty much died, I figured I might as well post it in a new thread:

The PGM20th is:

.....

...suspense should be killing you right around now...

That's right.

It's the PGM100RE

* neck : 1pc Maple
* body : Basswood
* frets : Jumbo
* finger board : Rosewood
* bridge : Edge
* pickups :
DiMarzio® PAF Pro® (H) neck pu
DiMarzio® FS-1™ (S) mid pu
DiMarzio® PAF Pro® (H) bridge pu
* Hardware color : Cosmo Black
* color : JB (Jewel Blue)

http://www.ibanez.co.jp/PGM20/PGM100RE.html

Maybe there's more to come, but there's nothing on the Ibanez site that would point towards another PGM.

(and no, I don't have a better pic of the reissue...)

So on top of the AT100CLSB Andy Timmons sig we can look forward to a PGM100 reissue. No word on the Fireman, though.
You've read it, you can't un-read it!

Pretty cool, but i want it with pink sawtooth-inlays, like on the PGM200 prototype!

I'm so pissed off.
I knew it was a bit of a conspiracy that it'd be a re-issue of the PGM100, but now I know it's true, it just hurts to know that, while I'm planning on getting a new guitar, one that I'll be saving for for a good while, and this comes out, along with the RG1550PPN, and that one which is blue with the yellow pickups (I forget the name of it altoghether) as well as others, WHY must this be a good year for guitars!?

I'll await seeing one of these.

Lol @ cat in the video...
I'm not a fan of the paintjob, but anyone can tell it's Gilbert's guitar.

EDIT: I like the red PGMs the best though.

I'm loving all these Ibanez reissues, and the not-quite reissues like the new Destroyer. I really wish I had some cash, but I'm being spoilt anyway right now so I'll be set all year

Ibanez should start looking forward again (I.E. Paul Gilbert Fireman) after all the looking back it's doing, but while it IS looking back, can we have a more vintage-ish Destroyer?

I hate the colours. Love PGM series though. Don't think I could stomach those colours though, tbh.
#13
Does this mean they're actually reissuing all the old models?
I REALLY WANT A PGM 300.

I didn't know God kept a cat.

Did you see how fast the cat could jump? Ridiculous.

Ibanez should release a Paul Gilbert Signature Cat. I would buy one.

FIREMAN UPDATE!

Just got off the phone with my friend from NAMM

Ibanez Fireman has a list price of $9333.33

The guitar comes with goodies. Hippie Strap, Bullet cable, and a pair of Extreme Isolation headphones, just like Pauls. My friend said "it played like a dream."

He also found out that one of the reasons it so expensive is because they have to make the guitars in a separate factory, due to the poisonous Korina wood shavings.

There is not an exact number of Firemen going to be made, or at least he doesnt know, but he was told the majority of them will be in the United States.

PICTURES COMING TONIGHT!

I'd laugh if the PGM301 were to get re-issued.

That would quite awesome.

I'd also like the idea of sticking some of Paul's customs on the poll, although I'm personally hoping for a 700 reissue.

The other PGM's are cool, but the 700 is the hardest to find and one of the most unique ones.
