This song is about someone i know with drug problems
Please crit

You used to be so innocent
Now your lost with only one friend
This friend doesn’t discriminate
And it doesn’t ever show you hate
It takes all from some
And It took most from you
Your life’s almost done
And you don’t have a clue

You said its not a problem
But It always seemed to bring them
You can’t deny it much longer
It’s been an increasing hunger
You keep losing this battle
Because your not even trying
Soon this could be fatal
But you just keep on lying

Now your spiraling down
With no help to be found
All of this is up to you
And you’ve got nothing to lose
So find who you really are
This has gone way to far
Soon you will realize
Your throwing away your life
If you could open your eyes
Then you might survive

This thing that has taken over
Its making you a loner
These things can’t be undone
But they can be overcome
You need to take a breathe
just stop and reminisce
About all the things you regret
And all the time you have missed

Now your spiraling down
With no help to be found
All of this is up to you
And you’ve got nothing to lose
So find who you really are
This has gone way to far
Soon you will realize
Your throwing away your life
If you could open your eyes
Then you might survive

Please listen to me
And maybe you will see
That everything that you do
Is causing you to move
farther away from hope
And farther away help
You don’t think But we all know
That you are killing yourself

Now your spiraling down
With no help to be found
All of this is up to you
And you’ve got nothing to lose
So find who you really are
This has gone way to far
Soon you will realize
Your throwing away your life
If you could open your eyes
Then you might survive

You don't need to rhyme every single line, make some rhythm adjustments so its not just a straight drone on like most indie bands these days.
Apart from that its pretty good

I think some of the best songs are based on true stories like this one. I like the lyrics, but it's hard for me to imagine music underneath. Other than that I really like this.
