I'm looking at upgrading my electric, as I've started to need a tremolo. I play mainly alternative, going a little bit lighter or heavier at times. Looked at a Stetsbar, but they're really expensive and imo not worth it.
I'm looking for:

Solid body

$300-$500

HH, HSS, or HSH pickups (passive only)

A tremolo that can dig in more than a Bigsby, but doesn't need to be able to do dives. squeals, etc.

What do you recommend?
