For about a week my old Squier was crying "PLAY ME, PLAY ME!!" but I said "I'm Sorry Squier but I can't play you your jack is broken and you look and sound like sh*t." this made my strat very sad so I said "why don't I get you some new pickups and a sexy new paint job to go with the sexy pickups?" The Squier yelled ok but I are you going to make my own thread on UG for it?" "Why not." I replied and now I am currently wondering "There are so many good pickups but what to get?" I decided on painting the strat forest green because there are not many green guitars and forest green is so super sexy.

So my question to you is

WHAT PICKUPS?

...I really like a lot of DiMarzio's but my other Jimi Hendrix-esque lefty flipped fender has 3 DiMarzio's so I am willing to venture out.

I guess if you wanna pimp it out.... SEYMORE DUNCANS!!
See if you can find single coil blackouts somewhere and make your Squire Br00taLz

Cause it looks like your guitars are pretty well set.

First question: what type of music do you like to play on your Squier?

A lot of Grunge or 70's punk

Forest green sounds kinda cool for a panit job. For pickups, you could try out actives if you wanted to.

I tried actives and I don't want to go down that road again. some people like them i just didn't at all but thanks for helping

I know this is a terrible example but Billie Joe from Green Day uses them

I decided to get a JB Jr. for my bridge and a DiMarzio Chopper for my Middle but for the neck I really want a rich deep tone with a lot of bass but I just can't seem to find the perfect one.

EDIT: I decided to get the pups in black because my current pups are back with a white pearl pickguard and it looks sexy... if the black on white pearl with green doesnt look good i'll just get new covers.

I know Grunge is 90's punk
Also I was thinking about JB's my local store has them. I heard they sound great but have never tried them.

JB's are kind of the standard when it comes to bridge humbuckers but i prefer the tb-11 custom custom. ceramic magnets are too harsh IMO

ok since everyone on GB&C likes you and I was slowly leaning toward kelly I'll do it. sorry I can't get pics for awhile. but today I unscrewed the neck and polished the neck and headstock with lemon oil. Then I started sanding down the paint.
