I would have, had I not clicked reply before there were any other replies.

But so was not the case. I did not cheat.

if it isnt there, it isnt official.

and yes, i know there is a variation.....but something about that doesnt seem right.

just depends on how picky you are.

So it's ok to use the same letter as long as there is another letter, like two R's? or no using the same letters at all? Oh and a Nat is a type of bug. Never mind I'll just take nat out. Won't hurt to lose one word.

you can not use the same letter twice.

like, you have the word "restart" although superdreadnought only contains one "L"

a word with two "R"-s ("roar" perhaps?) would be ok, because superdreadnought contains two "R"-s

also, the bug is spelled "gnat", not "nat" edit: ^^^ beat me to it

I don't even understand this game's rule

Well the word was superdreadnought, but i won the last round so we have to choose another word. Basically, you try to create as many words as you can with the given word.
Can't be less than 3 letters, can't use the same letter twice, i think names are aloud but I'm not sure. Think that about covers it.

well, as of right now, there is only one rule.

you must make words that contain at least 3 letters.

however, i'm thinking we should make more rules, but we would all have to agree on them first.

i say no names (like "doug, paul, elizabeth, mary"...people/animal names. now, species names, like "dogwood, gnat, spruce" would count), no contractions, no colloquialisms, no interjections....

but, i want some agreement before these rules are adopted.

Alrite, i'll use this post as the "rules"

1) Words must be at least 3 letters long.

2) Words can not use the same letter twice.
EX. "super dreadnought"
-you can make the word "rear" (original word contains two R's) but not "restart" (original word does not contain two T's)

3) Words can not contain personal names (Mary, Elizabeth, John, Robert). However, species names (dogwood, spruce, hibiscus) are allowed.

4) No interjections

5) No colloquialisms

6) No pronouns

7) No contractions

8) No abbrev. ( )

9) No cheating. Be honest, please.

And, I get final say as to if a word is accepted or not, but i'm nice about it.
