i have a boss blues driver and metal core and i was wondering the best way to chain em. because there is definitely a choke up on the tone when i linky them one after the other, so i was wondering if there was another way i would still be able to use both without having to separately connect and disconnect the two when i want to use them.

thanks!

You could build/buy a true bypass pedal. If you can handle a soldering iron it's really easy, http://www.diystompboxes.com/tbbox/tbbox.jpg. You don't need a battery or a 3PDT switch unless you want an LED, otherwise you can get by with a DPDT. This would allow you to put one out of the chain pretty easily.
Haven't you heard?

This is about the only thing you can fix your problem. Usually the amount that a pedal with alter your tone is minimal...but those pedals you mentioned are notorious for sucking tone from your rig.
