Are there any pedals that emulate the sound of an acoustic guitar?

Like sdo you can change from acoustic to distortion in the middle of a song?

Opeth alert.

There are 2 ways you can do this.
Piezo Pickups and acoustic simulators.

The latter comes in pedal form.

Boss makes a few, as do some other brands.

Piezo bridge saddles are what John Petrucci uses in his signiture Musicman guitars.

the piezo way is the more accurate representation imo, the simulators don't quite sound right

Synsyster Gates manages to do it on the live DVD in the song Gunslinger alright.

And so does the Roland Cube amps.

Simulations are just an imitation.
Where as piezo actually picks up the vibrations of the wood, which is as close as well ever get to an acoustic sound.
