alright i have a quick drum question. there really is no other site like this one in terms of help and i know there are some drummers out there.

i have a Taye double bass pedal and it's a good pedal besides the fact that the main pedal (the mallet) keeps loosening. After every song i have to go down there with a screw driver and tighten one of the screws in order to tighten it to be about the same as the other. is there any way i can fix this permanently as it's getting annoying and i don't relly want to buy a new pedal.

Duct tape?

But seriously, it sounds like the threads are stripped. You could try a new screw.

Even if it was all he needs is thread tape.

if its just a plain old screw, can you get a lock washer to hold it in?

that makes sense the thread being stripped, i got it second hand so it's pretty old. ill try to either find a new screw or put some thread tape on it because i know i have some. thanks.
