I want to expand my thrash horizons and I was wondering what the best thrash metal Cd from the 80's was. But please no insulting other bands or their records. Just state ur own opinions, because everyone's taste is different.

Dark Angel- Darkness Descends has always been one of my favorites.
But there's a ton of good thrash out there.
Go to the thrash thread or the recommendation thread.

Got that too. All the big albums by the big thrashers. I'm looking for diamonds in the rough kind of stuff. Not really well known.

Is that a joke? Show No Mercy rapes Reign In Blood so badly it's not even funny. My vote probably goes for either:

Sarcofago - INRI

Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death

Slayer - Show No Mercy

O what a disgrace if such a despised and base race, which worships demons, should conquer a people which has the faith of omnipotent God and is made glorious with the name of Christ!

megadeth - peace sells but who's buying?

I know people will propably say "lolno", but I think it's the most enjoyable thrash I've heard. Original, complex and intelligent.

Morbid Saint. game over.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.
