I can only get one or the other. I'm looking for a decent practice amp. No need to go into real high volumes or anything. I also have no need for any effects, as I already have an adequate effects pedal.

I would buy the V5. I have the Crate V50 and I love it. But you should try out both if you can.

I'm going to go to my local Best Buy and try the V5, but the only Flexwave is a good 30-40 minute drive away.
