I posted an improv a couple days ago and thanks to everyone for listening to it. But I wasn't satisfied with it so I did another one tonight.

It is called Am Improv 2.

In the last one the bending was horrific in a couple spots so I think I improved that.

In the last clip I left the slow parts with just the backing track but this time I added a little lick that I think really suits the feel of the song. And overall tried to make it more interesting and fun to listen to.

Let me know what you think.

By no means am I a shredder or a great improvisational player. Just started doing this type of thing to expand my playing so any advice is welcome.

If you have issues with the mp3 on my profile here is a link to it streaming:

I turned the backing track up. I agree it sounds a lot better. Thanks for the tips

I really liked your tone. Your attack was really clean and precise. What I would suggest working on is timing. It kinda sounds like you lose track of your metronome for a beat or two. You usually catch back up pretty quickly, but in the meantime it sounds a little off.

Keep it up!

Thanks for the crit.
