What pickups are they routed for. It came with SSS pickups but idk what it is routed for.

I believe the newer MIM Strats are HSH, just tell your mate to look under the pickguard only way to be sure

The HSH routing is under the pickguard. The routing refers to the actual wood that you cannot yet see.
