Hey
I have just moved my guitar (epiphone Les Paul studio) up very high on the strap cause i prefer playing it higher.
But its causing my ribs to hurt,
is it a.) Just cause i'm not used to playing it that high
or b.) Just the shape of the Les Paul

this is when you're standing?
it might be the weight of the guitar and the muscles in your back arent used to it, causing you to hunch over.
try standing up straighter maybe.
