I have an offer for a Gibson SG Standard. I'm curious if it's headstock heavy causing neck dive like most other sg models. I've used lower end sg's G-310 and G-400 as well as Esp's Viper and they where all this way. Anyone with knowlege on this please help. Thanks
My Setup:
Dean VMNT(Metallic Silver)
LTD DV8-R (Snow White)
Randall RG100sc
EHX Metal Muff

Sarcasm: Killing any chance you ever had at scoring this guitar, since 1895.

All SGs are hedstock heavy, this a well know problem with all Sgs and their thin bodies,

All you have to do is play with your forearm on the top of the guitar, keeps it from neck diving. Not really an issue at all.

get a good grippy strap to (leather/suede preferbly). problem solved.

From personal experience I can say the the Gibson SGs are a little bit better balanced than the Epiphones that I played.

its not that bad, epiphones are worse but you should be fine.
