Memory Man with Hazarai hands down. No question about it.

Has much much better sounding analog delay and a looper. Also has a lot of other features. You can set presets as well.

I have the EHX SMMH and it is awesome. It is not analog, but you can achieve amazing things with the filter knob which is absolutely amazing. It is more versatile than the Boss IMO (decay knob and whatnot). Try it out yourself.

It is a digital delay - both the DD7 and the SSMH are. They do not have analog circuitry.

They have analog emulation though. I personally dig the DD-7 and didn't like the MMw/H. But, it's really up to the user.

A good example of analog delay is Eric Johnson's tone. The digital delays have a louder and more prominent repeat, they aren't as warm and transparent. A good example of a digital delay is Paul Gilbert's Echo Song. It repeats the note perfectly. Analog decays notes.

Digital delays do have their purposes, but I certainly like the tone of an analog delay the best.
