So i am getting abit sick of changing drop c, c tuning, drop d all the time and was wondering should i get this -

or a low watt tube amp and a od to put it in metal territory.. i'm only bedroom playing and hardly jamming with my mates.

budget = for guitar or amp 850AUD.. so you can see my options are very limited.

EDIT: or something better for <850AUD. If i had money left over from guitar i can sell my current pedal and get a nice pedal for my amp.

This is my current rig.. wouldn't really call it a rig lol.

I'd say guitar, but maybe you should also invest in a D-tuna for your Jackson. if you were to get an amp, check out Egnater. best amp for the price, bar none.'

EDIT: Whoops! didn't see yoi didn't have a floyd on that jackson. maybe invest in a trans-trem tuning changer?

EDIT: and my guitar just has no sex appeal to it..

If i sell my amp and pedal i can get the Blackstar HT-5S 5W 2x10 Valve Mini Stack.
Hows that sound?

I'm happy with my tone atm to be honest.. My guitar is just so dull and boring. If i spend lets say 800AUD on a new guitar, i can sell my pedal for 120AUD save up 80AUD and get a MI Audio Tube Zone. (can that even do metal?)

save that $1000 to get a Vypyr 60 tube when they start getting shipped to Australia. If you want a new guitar go for a Jackson DK2M Dinky or something. Maybe just replace parts in your guitar, get a emg 81/85 zakk wylde signature set for $300.

hmm the guy said the price is going up $100 so thats $749.
Thats good !

wait no its not... oh well. And if i get like $850 i will have $100 to spare and then sell my pedal for $100-$120 which leaves me with <$220 to get a nice pedal (preferably with a valve in it)
