Hi,I've been looking into buying a new amp but to be honest, i don't know a hell of a lot about amps so i thought it would be logical to post in here.

Well anyway, i have been looking at a few fender amps such as:

Fender Blues Deluxe

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Fender Blues Deville

Fender Hot Rod Deville

I currently play a Fender American Deluxe Telecaster.

I play Classic Rock/ Blues/ Psychedelic, so I'm not sure how a Fender amp, or even a combo in general would suit this.

I'm not a particular fan of Marshall Amps, but if there is any that might suit me please recommend.

I have heard good things about Orange amps as well, although i have no knowledge of them whatsoever, so again, if there is a particular amp you think would suit me, suggest.

My current Budget: £700 is what i have at the moment, but i want to buy an amp that i could still be using in 10 years, so I'm willing to save up for anything a lot more expensive.

My main influences are bands like: Led Zeppelin, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Cream, The Black Keys.

Hi Skirvy. You should also check out the Fender Supersonic Combo while you are reviewing amps. Check out this link and listen to some of the demo sounds:

The supersonic comes as either a head or combo but the head does not come with reverb. The reverb that is in the combo is amazing and so shimmering that the first time I heard it I fell in love with the amp. The clean channel is crystal clear and so wide open you can really pick out the clarity of individual notes and tones.

The supersonic has two channels, Vintage and Burn. The vintage (clean) channel has two settings: Vibrolux or Bassman and both sound great. The vibrolux is super clean and bassman warms it up a lot. The Burn channel has multiple cascading gain controls that can really alter the tone and provide a lot of variety. It produces a very nice distortion when adjusted properly.

I would recommend an Orange Rocker 30.
This amp should be perfect for what you play.

The soundclips were really cool. How would i get onto a page with the soundclips for the amps I was looking at?

Try this link, then find the amp you are interested in to see if they have any demo sounds available by checking out the page for each specific amp. I looked for a couple but did not see sound clips for them so not sure if they have them for each available product or not.

Another great resourse is http://www.youtube.com Go there and search for the amp you have in mind. There should be clips from vendors and owners showing the amps.
