I'm in a "symphonic hardcore" band (yeah, that's what we play haha... like Winds of Plague without deathmetal influences) since late 2007, and we started to compose (we played covers for a looong time :S)
but the problem is that I'm french... So I'm not sure my lyrics makes any sense :S
I wanted to write "ecological lyrics" (i'm SxE...), so here I go :

THE MODERN STILL LIFE

Oh, mother earth, your sons, they dont wanna remember
who gave them life, who raised them, fed them
we are the plague, proliferating parasites
the swarm will never ****in end

Accomplices of this planetary offense
Don't look away
I wanna live on a breathing world
Fight for this right, I'll lead the flight

This world is suffocating under our feet

Skies are burning,
Clouds are turning black,
We, the vultures
are living while our planet dies
Woods are falling,
Seas are emptying,
We, the vultures
are living while our planet dies

People are blind, they dont wanna realize
they are the thorns, who make earth bleeding
All criminals in this blinded society, don't look away

retrace your steps
this is a dead end path

Skies are darkened by our rage
The sun we have to get back
This is our fault, We have to pay
Stand up, take on, never push away
your part of responsibility

World matricide
Never forget ; You're guilty of
World matricide

Is this right ? :S
Please tell me where are the mistakes...

I'm sure there are probably a few small errors, but for the most part it's spot on.

At a cursory glance, all I can spot is perhaps that at first it seems to be speaking to mother earth, and then later on to people.
Might want to fix that.
