My amps broken, I drove to a friends house to jam last night and it would turn on, but notmske noise, all it'll do is make a really quiet noise
asin the strings being hit are louder than the amp itself
amps a crate V33 quarterstack

If your amp is out in the cold, then let it warm up to room temperature before turning it on.

If you blew a fuse they are easy to replace. I'm not sure exactly where yours is but it is probably on the back panel close to the power section. Looks like the top of a screw usually. Plastic. Use a flat head screw driver or your finger or coin and just turn in a quarter turn and slide out. If the tiny metal wire inside the glass is not connected on both ends then it is blown. Take it to RadioShack or the like and get a new one.

Then hope that is all it is.

no

ususally a round deal on panel by power socket. Smaller than a dime. Mine is green plastic and says 'Fuse' below it. Sorry, I'm not familiar with the V series layout. So bump.

nothing back there

this happened once before, and a day or so later i turned it on and it worked fine
i think its from driving it around and jostling it

if i retube it,
what would be a good brand of tubes to give it less bass & more gain?
