Is anyone excited about the amps? lol. Pretty soon, i'll be runnin' out to Guitar Center to try these bad boys out!!

So far we have a bunch of Peaveys:

a 6505+ combo
a 3120 head & combo
the tube Vypyrs are finally being released, along with a tube head
a 50w JSX

From Vox, we have:

the AC4TV practice amp
the NT15H Night Train

From Bugera, we have:

1960 heads
1990 heads

Mesa:

Mark V
Electradyne

Bogner:

Gold Finger
Alchemist

Paul Reed Smith:

The Dallas
Blue Sierra
Original Sewell

Randall:

NB King 100

Blackstar:

Series One 45 combo
Series One 100 Head
Series One 200 Head

Fender:

40-watt Band-Master VM
Deluxe VM

Hopefully, the Bugera's will only have to be sent back once to be fixed before they're good.

I'm most excited about the Peavey 3120 though.

Thoughts, anyone?

The AC4TV is not a practice amp. Also, there's the Vox Night Train, the new Tiny Terrors, the new Mesas, the new Bogner, new Randall and tons of other stuff, so your list is, erm, incomplete.
I'm gasing for the night train tho.

6505+ Combo shall be mine as soon as they ship out, unless the JSX or 3120 happen to be as cheap, then they may be considered

They released a new thing in the Tiny Terror line. Think Tiny Terror, but two channels, and with the 15-watt mode replaced with a 30-watt mode and the 7-watt mode replaced with a 15-watt mode.

Anyway, my thoughts;

I'm rather happy to see PRS entering the amp market; I've always loved their stuff, and if Mr. Smith holds the company making them to the same standard he holds the guitars to, we're guaranteed some overpriced-but-epic amps to give a bunch of brands runs for their money. Especially if they sound as epic as Derek made them.

The main other four brands that interested me were Fender, Orange, Marshall and Vox.

The new Fender's look great and I love the VM series, but their a bit too expensive for my taste. Unless they floor me with tone though, which, looking at my Blues Jr., is very likely. Definitely should try once in GC.

Orange really only released the new 30-watt Tiny Terror that I can't remember the name of. Still, that interests me somewhat as I like Orange and this is a bit of something. Plus it also gives the Rocker 30 a fight of sorts.

Marshall just interests me because it sounds like their trying to salvage the MG's, which they hopefully can do.

As for Vox, unless something comes up, I'm pretty much sure I'll be getting an AC4 sometime in the year. Awesome little toy for cranking and jamming without having to carry a larger tube amp. ^_^ The Nighttrain also looks killer, if it's cheaper than the Tiny Terror as it usually goes between those two brands, I think it just gave the Tiny Terror a boot to the ass as my next gigging amp.

think that's the Dual Terror. They have a massive pics thread on Rig-Talk
http://www.rig-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=40588&start=0

besides the Gold finger, Bogner also came out with a tweaked new revision Uberschall, a new revision of the XTC, and new white headshells and cosmetics for their anniversary.

Dean also released a solid state Dime amp, built in collaboration with Grady Champion and one of the original Randall Century designers. Supposedly sounds pretty good from what people are saying. Also priced well, $699 street price for the stack.

Yeah, and it's $800.

I'm more excited about the 6505+ combo and the Bugera 1990. Hopefully Bugera will clean up it's QC and the 6505+ will be cheap.

Man that 6505 lit up looks badass. VHT booth is kinda depressing though, but the Fryette booth looks kinda cool, the logo isn't pink! And a Randall RM12? Holy hell.

Yeah, it was weird there. All the VHTs are like cheap made-in-China stuff now, & the Fryettes are the real deal, according to the guy at the Fryette booth. Fryette just sold out the VHT name. Fryette still makes the Pittbulls, which sound killer loaded w/ EL34s, but cost like $3400 US . I'll have some pics up later when I get home from work.

Pretty good thread idea. Get these collected into one place for reference. Not sure how hold the Carvin Legacy II is.

You 'may' or may not want to add the Marshall MG4.

Anyone have any links/info on the Bugeras?

Damn, that Vox Night Train is sexy. And if the Dual Terror has better clean headroom than the TT, I'll have to look into one.

Dude that video had me rollin on the floor..

You can tell he wasnt a happy camper in that video. Notice Kerry King wonder over to look at the settings. You can tell he doesnt like the tone coming out of the amp and he thinks its because of the settings on the amp and wants to tweak it. But after he looked it over you see him shake his head in re-assurance its setup right so he goes back to playing. And still in none belief that the amp just sucks he does it a second time...

Good job letting the public know just how much you actually love that amp Kerry. Hope there paying you enough money to be there trained advertisement mule..... lol

Well the MG4 is better than the original MG. Of course, that's like saying a hobo living in a Beverly Hills park is doing better than a hobo living in South Central LA.
