I bought this Whammy pedal so I could play Dragonforce, and all I've done so far is make random high pitched screams... honestly the only useful thing so far is the fact that it can drop the tuning two steps, which is cool? Any tips for this mysterious thing?
#2
I thought high pitched screams were dragonforce?
Why would you buy a pedal for that?

To play dragonforce, you have to use protools and sit in a studio for a year to fill up all the empty spaces in your playing so you dont sound like sheit.

You need pretty good musical and guitar knowledge to be able to use a whammy to good effect.

Dragonforce kicks ass!

That being said, you kinda need to know what you're doing to make a whammy pedal work.

Find someone who can teach you,
or I dunno.
Youtube it.

I consider calling a genre fake just because you're not fast enough to play it trolling.

They actually can play it, and believe it or not it does take talent to produce that music.

Uh, have you seen Dragonforce live?
They cant play worth ****.

and I'd like to see you play the intro to TTFAF perfectly. On a guitar that has strings and dosnt give you star power.

You thought spending that money on a pedal would make you able to play Dragonfirce?
Shoulda bought the booze instead.

Everyone knows you can't play Dragonforce without a studio to play in for a year.

its 3 whole steps down, slipknot has the same tuning, they just drop the first string....
not to be a dick or anything, but yeah it just kinda annoys me when people say that a certain band is tuned like 10 steps down.... unless u have bass strings, i doubt u could do that...
and anyways, why the **** would any1 put bass strings on a guitar
pfft bass..... the guitars that got shat on....

Yes I have, and they play quite well when they're not drunk.

I cant play it, I've tried. Just because I cant play it doesnt mean they cant.

why play dragonforce

Why play any music?
Why bother learning how to play something that you like listening to?
Maybe because he likes it?

Stop being a dick.

I'm tired of people jumping on the band wagon thinking they're cool because they hate a band.
They have other songs that aren't TTFaTF, believe it or not.
And most of them kick major ass.

Go listen to their first album and tell me they suck.

Now, let's continue this thread without being a jackass or a troll and just help the kid out with his pedal.
