Hey guys, I'm ordering my L5 hollowbody from Warmoth in a day or so, just one more choice to make. I have the option of a 1/2'' 3/4'' or 7/8'' side jack, I was wondering what is the standard for an L5 and what are the advantages of the different sizes?

Thanks for any help

The standard one is the larger size with a metal or plastic plate to hold the jack. But they do tend to come loose this way. The smaller hole with the long side jack that doesnt use the side plate looks better to me. And doesnt seem to have the coming loose issues. I have fixed the normal jack on my LP many times. The other style jack that came on my carvin I have has never had any problems.
