Right now, I'm looking for a new tube amp. My Peavey ain't giving me what I need... I was after a Bugera 6260 because it matches the tone with a peavey 5150 and it's affordable...

Should I just go with the Bugera 6260 2x12 Combo amp or the Head version. I play in my living room by my computer, will there be any tone differences?
Any Suggestions would be good.

Thank You

*edit*- I messed up, sorry...

You don't need a halfstack.

Bugera makes some great combo.

Would there be a tone difference in the combo version then the head version?

the halfstack version has better sound, and is easier to carry around than the 2x12 kind of. i'd wait till peavey makes the 6505+ 1x12 combo. it might actually fit in your living room. its due in april or something

Ibanez RG7321 w/ D-sonic in bridge

Peavey 5150 mk ii & b52 4x12 cab

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

Im on a budget right now. I'm trying to sell my Peavey to get the Bugera...

With the head version the total would be $800 something (W/Halfstack) and combo would be $650....

The MSRP is like $720. Hmm I'll wait until someone gets it and reviews. It Looks cool.

Compared to a Bugera 6260, nobody knows

well, the 6505 1x12 is most likely gonna be more reliable than the 6260. noone knows what the store price is gonna be, but chances are its gonna be the solution to every "$500-600 metal amp" thread.
