Hey guys, could anyone reccomend a brand of strings for jazz playing? I'm looking for something with a fairly well rounded sound, mellow but not too muddy. Going with gauge 12 strings and will be playing them on an electric hollowbody.

Thanks

You'll definatley be wanting flatwound strings, I couldn't recommend a particular brand though.

Thomastik-Infeld, either the Jazz Swing, which are flatwound, or alternatively, the roundwound Jazz Bebop. I currently have guitars strung up with both types, and I really like them. No mud.
