(Difference being that I'm not the angsty metal head.)

Anyway, I'm in a three part band called the Dry T-shirt Contest.
We play majority covers and on occasion oour own material if we can feel it (Coming in the air tonight)
I'm lead guitar / lead vocals.

We play Punk, Ska, Ska Punk (:P), Metal ( ), Rock etc.

The Dilema is:
We need some on stage jams to do. ie. ones to talk over etc.
And at the same time, three part songs without vocals to play.

So far we have ones like: (Links)

A Fond Adieu at The End Of The Show - Reel Big Fish

Chameleon - Herbie Hancock

And an example of solo stuff would be:

Farewell Ballad - Zakk Wylde

tl;dr : Need some good Jam tracks for bass, guitar and drums.

How is that when you have no trumpet? You can't have ska without a trumpet man. That is like metal without drums. Dude...

Dude, it isn't ska without a brass section
Blindfolds aside I'd probably still close my eyes

Huzzah for ska! You could always play 1234, 1234 and just jam at the end. Also, on Beer by RBF, you could improv the solos and maybe toss in a couple more. Also, look up Iru Kanji by The Supervillains. You could easily toss a jam in the middle of it.

**** YEAH!!!

Still need a trumpet man....

True, well they aren't my taste. I still prefer the trumpet in the ska or ska/punk.

I am not much on early punk and ska stuff. Too eh idk.

3 part song with no vocals, hard on bass and drums, YYZ by rush, its not punk or ska, but its a good 3 peice song, except you need to get around the organ parts in it.
Equiptment:

Bass: Yamaha RBX170
Amp: Fender Rumble 100
Pedal: Boss BOD-3 Bass overdrive pedal

These don't sound like very good ambitions when driving...Judas Priest makes people want to go 200 mph, and Realm of Chaos is now an album for ramming shit. You are dangerous, dangerous people.

Thanks, I'll look into that.

Can't you maybe just play a song and just you know not sing it?

In that case Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Skankin' Pickle, or anything like that is good IMO.

definitely jam out on 1234, 1234 and there's always Bankshot by OpIv. Two of my favorite songs ever.
Telecaster - SG - Jaguar
Princeton Reverb, Extra Reverb
P-Bass - Mustang Bass
Apogee Duet 2 - Ableton Suite

See then we run the risk of people knowing the song and booing etc.
Trust me if that was the case I'd be playing Gangsters by The Specials. :P
