hi, the other guitarist in my band has a fender blues reissue and he turned it on the other day and there was almost no volume. like he turned all the volumes up to 12 (the master actually does go up to 12 ) but it was no louder than us talking at a normal volume? does anyone know the reason? i think its the tubes but im no expert. and if so, which tubes? would we have to replace all of them? thanks in advance

if its a fender, i would suggest a 6L6 to retain its tone it had before, it depends on what brand though, and i would leave that up to some other people on here, but for sure 6L6.
