this Chris Conley guy has an utterly terrible voice.

The album has its moments. I think they would have been better off starting out with just an EP though.

And yeah, both of these bands are better on their own.

Good, but could have been better. It's kinda Max Bemis' way of just being, "HA HA HA I GOT TO RECORD AN ALBUM WITH MY IDOL"

+1 It's good in spots, but others are meh.
I think it would be better if they spent more time on the writing, such as going with the EP idea, instead of just cranking the album out.

max's low and clearer voice actually makes his whinyness way more noticable

I don't think it's utterly terrible. I've heard alot worse. But it's true, their voices don't mix at all.

+1. It's bad enough on his own but just unbelievably whiny next to Bemis

I like it. I would have preferred Max to put his energy on Say Anything's new album, but whatever. Maybe he wanted a change or something.

I bought the Two tongues cd the other day...

It's pretty good, some of the songs really rock (Crawl, If I could make you do things, Come on)
and others (Dead Lizard) just are not as good.

Overall, it was worth it. It's interesting to hear Max and Chris together.
