Hey dudes.

So, I got a 2.5 watt onboard amp from my new favorite place, Guitar Fetish, and it doesn't work through my FM212. So, like im sure you would do in the same situation, I am going to build a 10x12 speaker cab. Alas, I don't know the parts I need! If anyone can give me a parts list, I shall post pics of my beautiful guitar Aniya.

10x12?!?!

...umm... well, you'll need ten 12" speakers, to start. theres a cab building tutorial floating around the forums that can give you an idea for construction, but electronically, all you'll need is an input of some sort, and some wire...

..but why do you need a 10x12?

well, it would definately be badass, just kind of ...overkill?
almost like you're compensating for something

..but yeah, like I said, check the cab tutorial thread for construction help, and definately post pics when you're done

so are you seriously building a 10x12 or is the cab just going to be 10" by 12" ?
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.

Thanks for the help. As promised, here's a little guitar porn. She's the one in the middle, flanked by Breana (my friend's axe) and one with no name (my other friend)

10 12" speakers. In a cab. Stereo jack. I'll use it for gigs. I'll probably put in switches to turn off a few speakers, that way my parents don't make me dismantle it.

EDIT: Plus, I will run my beastly preamp through it for my other guitars.

this will be very very interesting. you'll probably end up spending close to 1000 bucks on speakers.

...wait, you know that more speakers dont mean louder, right?

...it kind of seems like you're using so many speakers to get more volume out of a little on-board amp..
didnt notice that the first time I read it...

I know, but you have my motives all wrong. I just wanted a big amp.
