Nice looking guitars if they sound like they look might be a winner.

I'm guessing they'll be quite pricey, just from looking at the specs and pictures.

Let's hope they're not devastatingly expensive.

Edit: I just saw the specifications. I fear the worst.

just about what i'd expect from prs, a great deal of unattractive fluff spoiling what seems like a perfectly good instrument.

Seriously! That second one would be a great looking guitar if it didn't have the sparkling garbage all over it.

I'm a fan, personally.

I played the 2nd and 3rd shown at NAMM. All I can say is wow. Everything you'd expect. They play, look and feel wonderful. They didn't have prices but I'm sure they'll be just like the electrics. Expensive as hell but people will buy them.

Dang... You got to go to NAMM? I'm depressed now, lol.

I think the Angelus is a bit more tastefully done, personally. Take a look at the wood inlay along the side of the fretboard. That's the kind of simplicity I like in my guitars.

They sound great from those youtube clips. I'm pretty sure that they're going to cost a fortune though. They didn't cheap out on the materials at all.

Sweet! I can't wait to get the opportunity to play these!

I must say that the fretboard and rosette inlays are a bit much for me personally but I love the other styling details.

Listening to the sound clips...

The first one really reminds me of a Larrivee sound. It has that same mellowed balance that I find to be characteristic of Larrviee guitars. Sounds good!

The guitar in the second video doesn't really impress me. It doesn't have any defining tone characteristics and seems kind of bland to me. I don't know how much these are going to cost, but I suspect that you could find a cheaper guitar that would sound better than this example.

Of course these are crappy youtube videos so who knows!

I'm going with the Tonare Grande. You know me; firmly anti-cutaway.

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL. You can turn the non-high quality vids into high quality ones. The sound is noticeably better on my Sennheisers.

@Chad - I think I've turned a bit anti-cutaway as well. An acoustic guitar doesn't look right to me if it has a cutaway.
