hi, I was wondering, what are the heaviest strings you can get for a bass. There's no real reason behind this its just out of curiousity.

thanks

It's going to kill me now... there's this company that makes custom strings at insane gauges, both thick and thin and in between... their company name is a very high note, like G5 or A6 or something like that....

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

Wrong. I use Roto Funk Masters, and at gauge 30, THEY'RE the thinnest.

I've seen 25's, I expect there's thinner available.

Dude if i were you i'd look more at bands like Dragonforce, Dragonland, Dream Theatre and Power Quest, most of their songs are either in E major, A major, C major or D majhor

I love thinner bass strings but that's extraordinary.

I use Stadium Elites Extra Light which run 30 - 90. Easier to do my blues bends
