Guess so...

Maybe Lars could try it instead of the drums?

Or maybe as well as the drums, it probably wouldn't make a difference.

Am i the only person who thinks it would be super intense if metallica had a keyboard player?

What would they do? They'd just stand there following the guitars but be so low in the mix you wouldn't even hear them.

They'd have super br00tal strings and choirs!
You shall listen to Kamelot.

A thrash metal keyboardist? Hmm. It'd be hard to find such a person, but I'm sure somebody like that exists somewhere. It's an interesting idea anyway.

maybe they could do it dragonforce style???

yeah i could see the relevance of the piano to add more emotion in an instrumental, possibly as a begining or an end, or in the middle around where there is a slow solo put the piano bit in its place

I think hes meaning to use them to get some kinda S&M sound.. which is pretty good. but not all the time. Nothing else matters uses orchestral backing. and No leaf Clovers one awesome song.

Metallica getting a keyboardist would be like Iron Maiden getting a violinist. its just....blasphemy

O what a disgrace if such a despised and base race, which worships demons, should conquer a people which has the faith of omnipotent God and is made glorious with the name of Christ!

Hallowed by Thy Name would sound great with a violin. But, you're right. Having a violinist actually become a full-time member of Iron Maiden would just be weird.

it was just a random thought i had in class today, but look, they did s&m. It would be like a tiny bit of S&M in every metallica song
