I really liked it, and it was fun watching it to see how many "V" motifs you could pick out ("V" shaped blood splatters, roman numerals for 5, Beethovens FIFTH symphony , two knives held in "v", after V battles Creedy the clock strikes 11:05 forming a "V" etc...)

Same, unfortunately it was on a bus with a load of noisy people, so I missed quite a lot of the speech, but i got the general jist.

Yeah that's a brilliant film! Iwas shocked to discover that V is played by Hugo Weaving, aka "Agent Smith". What a guy.
I definately think this is one of those films which you either love or you hate. Or atleast that's what I found when I went to the cinema with my friends to watch it.

Saw it on TV a couple of weeks ago, was pretty damn good, was kinda expecting to see him take his mask off at some point towards the end though.

I find it overrated, it's not that great.
Apart from that scene where Natalie Portman is dressed up as a schoolgirl.

The book is better.

Now not to say the film wasn't excellent but it's strange how different a feel the film has from the book. I loved the film, it was excellent but it was MASSIVELY different from the book.

pretty epic movie imo.

i think the writer of the comics is like a satanist, magician, and anarchist or something too.

that would explain V's character.

He's not a satanist, but he does worship a known fictional snake deity, probably not seriously though.
