I have a new song recorded called Monkey Man. You guys will probably know what it's about pretty early on. Full band on it but haven't finished backround vocals. Tell me what you think. It's in my profile

Cool song, I really like the drums, keyboards are a nice touch, I can't hear the guitar very well [might be my speakers?] the solo was pretty good. Vocals are a bit iffy and they don't cut through the mix properly, I think a brighter mic setting would suit your voice... I can't really complain though, I haven't got a great voice myself.

Overall fun song, I did enjoy it.

Therer are some nice riffs in there
the clean lead guitar sounds gr8
The singing sounds ok but can't really understand any of the lyrics,
you've got a good sound on the lead distortion guitar for the solo solo fits in pretty well to the song

The only thing that kinda bothered me were the vocals, I loved the guita tone, what gear were you using? And just to add it had R.E.M sort of feel to it, Probably need to get the vocals to cut through a lil more, and the guitar louder. Other than that it was great!

Thanks for all the comments. On this song I'm pretty sure that I used my gibson 76 L6s. I used a traynor amp and I think that I used the distorted channel for the solo but I might have also used a fuzz face. I kind of decided to add in a solo a couple seconds before so It was very spur of the moment. Not really sure about what settings and sound I had.

but its pretty cool... the drums sound a bit choked tbh... timing wise.

I really like how it went places with the transitions.

But I think the primary problems in this piece is the timing and quality. Your voice also reminds me a little of Beck.

The drums seemed to overpower everything for me. The intro was okay, but the vocals sound very out of place at some points. I don't know what else to say, this track would probably be better off as an instrumental.
