I won a guitar a few weeks ago and it just arrived. It is signed by James Burton who played for Elvis for 30 years apparently. I expected it to be a Strat since that what James plays although an entry level version. What I received is a Behringer. I didn't even know they made guitars. After doing several Google searches all I can find, including on the Behringer website, are iAXE guitars with USB ports. Mine does not have a USB port. It is a standard guitar.

There are no markings on it other than the brand name on the head and a barcode sticker on the plate behind the pickups, on the back.

I would like to know what it is and what it was supposed to come with. There is threading for a trmelo bar but no bar. It came in a soft case that had a used pick and a repaired strap in it.

Any help in identifying the guitar would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh, snap!

That's kind of a let down. James Burton has a signature Fender Telecaster, I'm pretty sure. I wonder why you got the Behringer.

this it? i mean you can look in the jack, see if it's standard or coupled with a usb.

either way, if it's a starter guitar, i suggest you remove the pickguard protect it and put in on a different strat.

or just play that one.

Ironic, I signed up to Huckabee's mailing list just to win that guitar. I'm not even a Republican, but I assumed it'd be a James Burton tele, so I signed up anyway.

Anyway, that looks to be this;

Unless Mr. Burton picked out a gem, it'd probably be more worth your while to frame it for Burton's autograph.

Since I don't want to make a new thread.

What type of guitar is the one on the bottom left?

Thanks for everyone's input.

jj1565 and necrosis1193, as I stated in my original post, this guitar has no USB port therefore it is not an iAXE. I suppose it could be the V-Tone but I can only find that in a package. I'm sure if they had a deal with the manufacturer they could get the guitar alone. I have a feeling they have a couple dozen of these stacked up in the tour bus and sign and give them away as they tour around for publicity.
