every once in a while i will tweek my amps tone knobs to see what different characteristics it produces. i'll do this with the graph-eq turned off. i start with all knobs on 5 and work from there. i recently re-tweeked the tone knobs and wound up with all knobs (treb bass mid) on 7.
is there anything wrong with having all tone knobs at the same level?
its a Mesa 50 caliber +, and i think it has and active eq.... what ever that means

btw, the G-eq is set to bass-to-treb:
+ 4.5
- 4.5
+ 4.5
+ 4
+ 3.5
