On guitarfetish.com the floyd's they sell are not double locking, instead the strings go through the back of the tremolo with the ball end still on there and they don't clamp in place.

Does anyone one have one of these and/or know about their tuning stability

well,
if it has the locking nut,
it would seem to be pretty stable.

I have one.
Its the way to go.

I mean that in the nicest way possible of course.

personally, i wouldn't bother. the good ones are double-locking for a reason...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

^Dave's right. Single-locking trems are a good idea in theory, but not so much in practice.

yeah. i mean, if made with quality materials etc. they might work as well as, say, a wilky with locking tuners, it's just normally they're made as a cheap-out...

nice to see you around too, danno
