I turned my knob too much and broke it.
Taking the knob off and turning it the other way didn't help much either.
Do I need to remove my pickgaurd or is there something I can do like hitting it real hard? :P

I turned it too much just being stupid. Not on accident. Just sheer stupidity.

didn't you think maybe when it stops twisting...you should stop twisting it? you can't force your guitar to 11

Yes, I know. I was being really stupid and broke it. I wasn't even thinking when I did it.
I really want to fix it.

next time describe your problem more clearly.

Take it to a guitar shop and get a quote, if its good pay it. your guitar must be **** in the first place so if it cant be repaired for $20, save up and buy a decent guitar.

Actually my amp goes to 13.

Anyway, as far as the knob goes, if you have to replace the pot it shouldn't cost that much.

Probably turned it too much, the pot itself twisted on the pickguard and you ended up breaking a solder joint or something thats why it doesn't work now. Thats my guess from the lack of information you provided. Sounds like a cheap fix
