What are some subtle examples of watermarking photography? I've seen some that the watermark sticks out like a sore thumb (big website name in the corner), but i haven't seen a single one that has been there to discreetly mark a photo as a copyrighted image. Could anyone send me an example of a well hidden, but still somewhat apparent watermark? Thanks!

This was the first picture that really came to mind.

Look just to the right of his bottom jaw. You can see the IGN logo.

edit: There, much bigger image with a pretty red box.

^ I can't see the logo. I zoomed in pretty darn close, too.

Edit: I looked up the logo, and now I can barely see it. That's a crappy watermark and probably wouldn't hold up in any legal situation.

^ Yeah, in case you didn't notice my edit (that you quoted) I found it shortly after posting. The second pic is much better, the first one was kinda washed out a bit.

I noticed your edit. I thought it was better to go ahead and post the bigger one anyway.

Yeah, that post was referring to Invoke. I'm glad you posted the bigger one.
