the situation:

you arrive in Heaven after a life of rocking. an angel tells you that since you've been good and also because you don't suck too considerably you get 10 basses from any company and style. what do you get? (note: you play these things for all eternity)

Warwick ash Corvette, red,
Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass ash, 5 string, sunburst, tort pickguard, maple fretboard
Ibanez SR650 Poplar Burl Special 4 string
Warwick Fortress One, natural
Music Man HS Sterling, transparent orange, orange swirl pickguard, maple
Fender Precision Bass, ash, black, white pickguard, maple fretboard,
Pedulla SS Rapture, 5 string, green blue sunburst, white pearloid pickguard, maple fretboard
Zon Hyperbass, curly maple top, natural oil
Fender Wildwood Coronado bass, as good quality as possible for a CBS
Warwick Stuart Zender signature, stock

all with Rotosound Swing 66 strings, except the Coronado, which would have Roto flats on it.

for the most versatile looks and sounds possible. I think this would be quite perfect.

try to stay somewhat stock, this could get pretty big otherwise.

I'd take my basses with me, hands down. If I was graciously granted an additional ten basses, I'd want:

-Lakland Joe Osborne 4-string in sunburst/rosewood with Lindy Fralins
-Lakland Bob Glaub 4-string in white/rosewood with Lindy Fralin pickup
-1988 Warwick Thumb NT 6-string fretted
-1988 Warwick Thumb NT 5-string fretless
-1988 Warwick Streamer Stage I 5-string fretted
-1990's Warwick Streamer Stage II 5-string
-2001 Warwick Infinity 4-string, birdseye maple top
-Warwick Star Bass II, with the bubinga body and top
-Warwick P-Nut III Signature
-Warwick Triumph 5-string upright

Call me single-minded. Bah! I figure with the three vintage-type basses thrown in for color, all would be wonderful. I'd be using DR and D'Addario strings on all the basses, except the ERB, which would get Thomastik strings.

For a rig, I'd want an Eden VTB-300B head, Navigator WP100 pre, and WT1250 power amp. I'd mix and match those with all varieties of Eden cabs.

Well oh my

-Fender American standard jazz, with maple neck, in red.
-Fender American Deluxe jazz, with rosewood neck, 5er
-Musicman Stingray, 5 er with HS, and Maple neck
-Warwick Streamer Lx custom shop
-Warwick Jazzman Corvette, blonde.
-Fender Vintage american Precision, with maple neck, Fretless
-Yamaha John Myung sig 6er, Double H
-Lakland, usa series, 5er HS, Maple Neck. a green burst maybe?
-Warwick Proline corvette, 5er, red.
-Fender Stu hamm sig
-2008 Rickenbacker 4003, rosewood neck, blue body, sexy.

Rotos 66 on all the fenders and musicman, standard on the fenders and a tad lighter for the musicman. Elite stadiums on the LX. Roto flats on the fretless and Proline. And maybe a mixture of Dr's, Roto's, and elites, for the lakland, jazzman, urge and ric.

Oh my thats alot of gas, I would probably run it through, a ampeg pro, with sansmap in the Fx loop, though, an Eden or Ashdown Power amp. Through a Mesa 2x15. Thats for the cleans.
An Original Hiwatt tube bass amp or a Reeves, through an 8x10, for dirty, griity tubey overdrive.

Plus a 100 unpaid roadies, so i could tour heaven.
