I have been playing guitar for 2 years and have just upgraded my gear to a roland cube 30x and a yamaha pacifica 612v.

i want to play sum grunge and post grunge - nirvana/pearl jam but also want to play linkin park and nickelback.

Does anyone know any reliable pedals that will do the job.

Yeah, stuff like Nickelback, Hinder, Seether, whatever.

Sort of like that anyway. Ofcourse all 3 of those bands stray from the label a bit.

As for the question, I can't tell you which specific one but hopefully this will spark someone elses memory; I believe Boss have a distortion pedal which is very popular for grunge music.
