Well I've just written a song out and quite like it. But constructive criticism is welcome. I'm 14 years old and a beginner at songwriting

Teach me how to back away
If you won't take the leap
The way you're moving now
Has got me feeling like a lovesick teen
Don't tell me these feelings are make believe
And I'll be over you in a week
Because that's not true
I don't know how to get over you

I can go anywhere with you
And we could do anything
Grin at the raised eyebrows of those that say
You can't love when you're only a kid

So don your casual clothes
And meet me by your parent's car
I'll slash the tyres
So they don't find out where you are tonight
I know I need to convince you
But if I lose this I'm sure to miss you
So follow me into the night

I can go anywhere with you
And we could do anything
Grin at the raised eyebrows of those that say
You can't love when you're only a kid

Hey man, sorry but you need to read the rules because this thread will be closed. The title is against the rules. Just have a quick read and then re-post once this has been closed, people will be able to crit it for you then! Good luck with the songwriting!
