I'm a lefty. So I was browsing musiciansfriend and found http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Alvarez-RD20SL-Left-Handed-Dreadnought-Acoustic-Electric-Guitar?sku=514107

Here's the right handed model: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Alvarez-RD20S-Regent-Series-Dreadnought-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=518725

The right-handed model is acoustic. The left-handed model is acoustic-electric.(I have spoken with musiciansfriend support, they confirmed it)

The guitar is the same as the RD20SC(http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Alvarez-RD20SC-Regent-Series-Dreadnought-AcousticElectric-Cutaway?sku=518729 ), except without the cutaway, which I don't need or want. So essentially I'm getting the same thing for $100 less.

A solid-top acoustic-electric for $280? :-o. Looks like a pretty damn good deal to me.

What do you guys think?

Where is that golden horseshoe that you have laying around? I want to borrow it

Get it. Alvarez makes great guitars. And if it turns out you don't like it, you can always send it back.
